MADE IN RUSSIA is one of the latest releases by Lolas world label a division of Clubstar Gmbh German sound recording company that specializes in world music cd-compilations pointedly. For eight years of its existence Lola has issued more than one hundred compilations united to thematic series. According to managers of the project, their main aim is to demonstrate to the public richness and variety of musical cultures existing in different countries. Unfortunately now this variety can hardly be felt and realized due to globalization process and Lolas world is trying to suggest solution of the problem.
In MADE IN compilations journalist, culture expert and DJ Gulbahar Cultur collected sounds from Turkey, Germany, India, Iran, Greece, Persia and Russia as well. Gulbahar does not give advantage to any kind of music. She cleverly compiles commercial and experimental, contemporary and traditional, popular and not very well known tracks in order to get an impression of what is musically happening in the countries mentioned. Professionalism of the performers and high artistic value of the material are the only things that really matter to compiler and can influence her decisions.
MADE IN RUSSIA compilation was released on two Cds. One is devoted to Gogols overcoat, the other to Pushkins party. The compilation includes 4 tracks by Citadel records musicians (Moscow Grooves Institute Tuva song, OLF Na Zare, Dub Chairman Kolodets, Second Hand Band V posledniy raz) and compositions by Oleg Kostrov, 5NIZZA, Leningrad, Volga etc.
On the 27th of November at Pyatnica pub Moscow Grooves Institute project gave its last concert in 2009. Concert was held in homely atmosphere and had a great success.
The program of the performance included seven tracks. It became a surprise not only for the audience but to some extent for the musicians as well. The point is that during the rehearsals only outline sketches of the performance were specified the rest depended on the mood of members of the project and their listeners. Everyone is happy with the results of the concert so it is highly possible that in future Moscow Grooves Institute will use such practice of getting ready for live shows regularly.

Since the 1st till the 15th of September 2009 Goatika Creative Lab. was on tour on the island on Ibiza, well known for its night clubs where music of various styles can be heard. In one of such clubs the iconic LAS DALIAS (lasdalias.squarespace.com) performance by members of international creative laboratory took place.
Goatikas concerts as usual united well-known musicians from different countries of the world: Roei Fridman from Israel, Elvis Lobo from India, Andrea Presa from Italy, Steven Coppens from the Netherlands as well as Pavel Mikhailuk, Artem Yakushenko and the member of Moscow Grooves Institute project Boris Nazarov from Moscow. This time international collective presented to the audience a completely new program that had a great success. Its likely that Goatikas concerts on Ibiza will become traditional very soon.

Since the 27th till the 30th of August the third International design festival Design Act will take place in Moscow. According to the organizers of the event, Design Act is the first attempt to draw attention of wide audience to the work of industrial designers people who create all the variety of objects around us. In order to reach this aim different kinds of activities have been included to Design Act 2009 program. At the end of August markets and fairs of fun-filled, enjoyable things, debating clubs, lectures, master classes from famous international designers and certainly parties for all the admirers of modern art will be held in Moscow.

At the beginning of May Orange spring - a musical festival, that for its comparatively short history managed to become one of the most vivid and memorable events in the cultural life of the capital is coming to Moscow.
The idea to carry such a festival through appeared in April 2008 when Orange mama project was preparing its jubilee concert and invited friends playing music of the same kind to take part in the event. Experiment had success and the band decided to hold it annually.
Headliners of Orange spring - 2009 are Moscow Grooves Institute, lounge project Nels, the band DJs friend that combines jazz with modern electronic grooves and the organizers of the event Orange mama in a new lineup.
Except for the performance by these groups, on the 8th of May at X.O. club you will be able to hear spontaneous jams when members of different collectives extemporize on the stage pouring into the music of each other and adding new colors to well known compositions. Special guests that are not mentioned in the lineup of the event will probably also play at Orange spring 2009.

At the beginning of April Moscow Grooves Institute is having several concerts. On the 8th of April the band will play its special lounge program at Rosgosstrah private party at Pushkin museum. A famous Georgian singer Nino Katamadze will also take part in the event.

Since the 18th till the 22nd of January 2009 another Midem will take place at the Palace of Festivals in Cannes. The biggest and most significant international musical exhibition will as usual gather leading specialists from different parts of the world. Those who grasp trends at the moment of their appearance, who propose new solutions and establish standards, who is at the very peak of musical business.
Annually one of the members of exhibition becomes Midems country of honor and presents to the key figures of musical business companies and artists that have international potential and at the same time are of a big success in their native country.
In 2009 Russia will get such a unique chance. Citadel records will be taking part in the program Russia Midem 2009 country of honor, that is supposed to include presentations, seminars, events for Russian and international press, concerts, roundtable discussions and many other events. Next year our label will present its new projects and releases at Russian National Pavilion.
And Moscow Grooves Institute will perform in the cycle Midem Opening Night, Russia! Time for Partnership (2 years ago MGI already took part in Midem concert program). Except for the compositions from the sixth album of the group at the concert you will be able to hear three new songs performed by Olga Noel.
In the middle of summer 2008 Star Search Media Company released the albums of OLF project NA ZARE and Moscow Grooves Institute Les Etoiles Sont Plus Proches Avec Les Yeux Fermes (released under the title Message). The disks will be distributed in China and South Korea.
Several weeks ago digital releases of MGI Les Etoiles Sont Plus Proches Avec Les Yeux Fermes and OLF Les Chrysanthemes have also been issued in Korea. They have good response from the market and are highly appreciated by critics.
On the 28th of July 2008 Moscow Grooves Institute consisting of Pavel Khotin, Yuri Shulgin and Boris Nazarov as well as Artem Yakushenko (White Ostrog) were playing at the demonstration of F5 new collection. MGI performance was of a big success; combination of live music and defile turned out to be so vivid and interesting that now representatives of fashion industry are seriously considering possibilities of further collaboration with MGI.

At the beginning of August Moscow Grooves Institute starts recording its new album. While working at it, musicians claim, they will be using non-typical methods of musical instruments recording.
Moscow Grooves Institute gig in Japan has been of great success. About 150 persons gathered at Super Deluxe club in Tokyo, where the performance of MGI took place. According to the musicians, during the performance they did not sense the notorious cultural and informative gap between Russia and Japan at all. Reaction of the audience was vivid and emotional; musicians got a very warm welcome and played encore.
In a few months after the concert the fifth album of the group Les etoiles sont plus proches avec les yeux fermes will be released in Japan. The cooperation between Citadel records, Moscow Grooves Institute and Eastern music industry is expanding in other directions as well. In summer of 2008 the album of OLF project NA ZARE and a compilation Message, containing MGI compositions of different years, will be released in China and Korea.
As it has been assumed before, new program of Moscow Grooves Institute first performed in Japan will provide basis for the sixth album of the project that will be released by Citadel records in autumn of 2008.
On the 28th of July at the rest house Yakhonty located close to Moscow the demonstration of a new collection of youth wear Summer 2009 by the brand F5 will take place. Nowadays F5 is in the process of rebranding, targeted at rising of its recognizability. One of the most effective methods of rebranding is to create a vivid and memorable audiovisual image of F5.
Moscow Grooves Institute project received a proposal to work at the music for the demonstration of new collection. On the 28th of July MGI will be playing remakes of well-known compositions by foreign musicians. After the demonstration of F5 new collection Moscow Grooves Institute will also give a short concert at which new authors compositions of the project can be heard.
As we have already informed you, in the middle of July Moscow Grooves Institute is having a gig in Japan. On the 18th of July MGI now consisting of Boris Nazarov (vocals, samplers, and groove boxes), Yuri Shulgin (bass guitar, cuts) and Pavel Khotin (synthesizers) will perform at Super Deluxe club in Tokyo. The concert will take place in the frame of Russian Cultural Festival 2008.
Now musicians are working at the new program that will be performed for the first time during the gig in Tokyo and then, hopefully, will provide the basis for MGI sixth album.
The idea of synthesis of different kinds of art has always been one of the determinants of Citadel records musicians creative activity. They collaborate with such cinema and theatre directors as E. Konchalovsky, V. Mirzoev, E. Lavrentiev, Ph. Grigoryan etc.
Several months ago the creative tandem of a famous actor Michael Efremov and member of Moscow Grooves Institute project Boris Nazarov was formed. At the stage of Sovremennik theatre Efremov brings to life his dream he is staging Andrei Platonovs play Musical box. According to the director, the main aim of the performance is to get to the very core of modern life, to help spectators recognize themselves in the heroes of the Platonovs drama. And music of composer Boris Nazarov helps to reach this aim.
The first night of the Music box will be on the 22nd of April. It will be the first performance of the play by one of the most original writers of the past century on the Russian theatre stage.
Moscow Grooves Institute creative biography has always combined studio work with concerts that took place in Russia and abroad. MGI were on tour in France, Monaco, Germany, Poland and Romania.
Soon Japan will be added to this list. In the middle of July Arkady Marto and Boris Nazarov are planning to hold several concerts in Tokyo.

Tony Levin is the virtuoso and pioneer of the bass-guitar, the inventor of the unique musical instrument Chapman Stick, the musician, without whom it is difficult to imagine the groups of Peter Gabriel and King Crimson.
John Lennon, Pink Floyd, Paul Simon, Yes, Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Steve Hackett that is an incomplete list of celebrities who worked with Levin in studio or at the stage. But Tony Levin works not only with stars famous all over the world. He is always eager to collaborate with talented and interesting musicians - such as the members of creative musical laboratory Goatika.
The interest to the interaction of different cultures and musical trends is the main characteristic feature of Goatika. It was manifested in the first album of the project - Musical fish, as well as in the first concert of the Goatika international project in Moscow at the Forte club. Such artists as Pete Lockett, George Brooks, Sergei Kalachev, Artem Yakushenko and Arkady Marto (Citadel records) took part in the concert.
The concert Tony Levin & Goatika will become the next step of collaboration between Goatika and Citadel records. Boris Nazarov (Moscow Grooves Institute) will appear at the B2 club together with Tony Levin, Joseph Bubrovsky and the musicians of Goatika.

Russian electronic music and other genres of contemporary Russian audiovisual art are very popular in Japan nowadays. Moscow ARTCUT will be devoted to these spheres of the modern Russian art in particular.
The information gap between Russia and Japan is still rather significant. The program of the festival can reduce it and provoke a wave of interest to the young Russian culture. Together with our partners from Japan we are ready to present in Tokyo an important part of the independent Russian culture - the independent art that is highly popular in Russia now, the young audiovisual art that can be shown on the club stage or at multi-cultural centers.
The Moscow ARTCUT festival offers to Russian and Japanese public the product that shows the best correlation with main trends of modern culture and at the same time rarely uses verbal structures: the electronic music, video art, art-house cinema, non-verbal theatre, animation. This approach allows overcoming the linguistic barrier.
From the Russian part, Citadel records offers to unite in the program of the festival progressive electronic music and trends, supported by the project AKTOVIY ZAL. The latter presents on its stage young groups that are highly popular among Russian youth.

4 years ago Officiel jointly with the project OLF (Olga Rozhdestvenskaya and Moscow Grooves Institute) launched a collection L'Officiel disk, devoted to the publication of the 50-th issue of the magazine in Russia. The cover was created by designer ORA ITO, famous all over the world for the design of non-existent objects.
Today the ways of the famous designer and one of the participants of the musical project are intersecting again.
The international forum of industrial design Design Act (DA) is taking place on the 30 th of August - the 3 rd of September in Moscow, at the contemporary art center VINZAVOD.
DA is a multi format forum, the main aim of which is to popularize industrial design in Russia and to popularize Russian industrial design in the world. The main aim of the forum is to make industrial design widely avaliable.
On the 31 st of August at 12.00 starts an exhibition Design Market, where guests also can buy things, created by famous designers. Some of the displays of the exhibition have never been to Russia before. The exhibition will be working for 3 days at VINZAVOD.
Among the participants of Design Market are such stars of design as Hiroshi Tsunoda DesignCode, WAT Design, Black+Blum, Mixko and also such Russian companies as Ostengruppe, Open!Design, Limitedunlimited.ru, Respublika.ru, Sock to Talk etc.
In the frame of DA will be working a discussion club Design Forum (lectures, discussions, masterclasses from the most famous contemporary designers, exchange of experience).

On the 20 th of July a multicolour version of a famous debut album of Moscow Grooves Institute Surround Wednesday has come out. It was recorded in 1997. In 2004 2005 the album was partly rearranged by sound producer Sofia Kruglikova and redesigned by Denis Barkovsky.
This music is an example of a successful combination of Arkady Marto's ambient melodic and Boris Nazarov's broken rhythms that altogether compose one trip-hop story that will never be boring. It's original cosmic ethnic trans music that is full of harmony.
A two-day jazz marathon finished yesterday in Arkhangelskoye Ousadba. The collective of Moscow Grooves Institute remained quite pleased with its performance and with merry mood of the audience. The details you can find here: foto

But through pure misunderstanding Arkady Marto who is the main music inspirer of Moscow Grooves Institute wasn't named in the captions. This spring started with a new production of artists that work with the label Citadel Records. This fact raises much happiness in our breasts. And the music shows the best correlation with it. This time Moscow Grooves Institute has made an attempt to wake up their admirers (word for word!) with their new video-clip "Wake Up". For the first time it was shown on MTV Russia channel one of these days.
In allegoric form "Wake Up" imitates our usual life and the things we do every day. It shows great number of chances our life gives us every moment, a lot of opportunities that we loose or not. The video shows seven variants of the same person. Seven ways of his time spending. He can stay in bed all day long or set up for a trip, he can fall in love or stay alone, he can realize his dreams or lose and remain a dreamer forever.

QWARTZ ELECTRONIC MUSIC AWARDS the 3-rd european contest of electronic music takes place in Paris from 23 till 25 of March 2007. Its not so famous in Russia as MTV Music Awards for example. But this year the situation can be changed for the better thanks to a Russian group Eject Project (Citadel Records label) with its new album Unreal Time that claims to get the first prize at the French contest.
QWARTZ ELECTRONIC MUSIC AWARDS 2007 is to show the potential of the modern electronic music and the perspectives of its evolution. According to the idea of the contest all the works are presented so as to lead visitors through the whole range of new music and express their preferences in 8 of the categories that are eligible for an award: Track, Album, Discovery, Experimental, Dance Floor, Compilation, Video Clip, Artwork and Packaging.
5 000 ? will be attributed to the Qwartz Artist chosen among all the 3rd Edition nominees. The sponsor of the contest is Bjork a pop music star who is expected to be present at the show.
The winner will be chosen among the collection of the 300 works. These will be submitted to the public for voting up (also online voting) till the 15 of February 2007.
Russian group has really good chances to get the first prize. Eject Project group was chosen to play at the grand opening of the show on the 23 of March. Itll be the first group to try new amazing Haliaetus monitors with a 8 canals surrounding system.The instruction of the voting is here
On the 21 of January 2007 in the context of the MIDEM international music exhibition there was a concert of MGI group at the club 3,14 in Kannes. Many guests and participators of the exhibition were present at the concert.

The performance was so successful that the group was invited to have a concert in Paris on the 24 of March at the QWARTZ ELECTRONIC MUSIC AWARDS at the night club OPA. Wed like to add that a day before that another group of the same music label Citadel Records Eject Project is going to play at the grand opening of the contest.
It can happen that MGI will play at Montreux Jazz festival in Switzerland (6 21 July 2007). The nedgotiations are in process.
Citadel Records once again goes to Cannes, to visit international musical forum MIDEM. In day of opening of a forum Moscow Grooves Institute will perform their live gig in hotel 3.14. After returning from France we will release compilation called Morning, Day, Evening, Night. Compilation would consist from 16 tracks. On this release you would hear new tracks from such artists like MGI, Earl Gray Smokers, o3 Cocktail, Second Hand Band and many other interesting and talented projects.

In the end of august Moscow Grooves Institute is going to release a clip on a track "Love theme" from a new album "Les Etoiles Sont Plus Proches Avec Les Yeux Fermes". To shoot a new video have invited Andrey Zhdanov. Shootings of a clip will pass in Moscow. In this work musicians want to show the image of city.
Further release of a video-clip is planned for a composition "Wake up". Shootings will pass in Paris. The clip will tell to us about a life of the modern person. About one million opportunities. The person builds his life himself . Protagonists of a clip named Paul. There are seven people, and they are one person - Paul. Seven variants of one person. Seven decisions of his day. He can lay all day in bed or will go to work. Can fall in love or remain lonely. To execute the dream or to remain the dreamer. To shoot the video artists have invited French directors Hugo Ramirez & Vladimir MK well known on work with masters of electronic stage I:Cube, Joakim and Chateau Flight and Moby.
In the end of autumn Citadel Records will release DVD with all MGI clips ad a couple of live videos. The disk will be devoted to decade of a command.

The final concert of MGI passed in Ikra club, musucians called this concert "final" before the leaving on creative holydays with no fixed terms, if MGI will take a decision to continue their joint activity, than fans will see the friuts just in coming of autumn. And now Boris and Arkady are separate, to complete their solprojects ( the new album of Eject Project will release at citadel records on August) and to invent something new as MGI. The band will have few concerts including in Europe.

Gamardgoba! In the concert of MGI - 25th of April, which was in Ikra club, our video-lovers layed with two lay cameras, as a result we've got very funny documental video stuff, about the event. The quality of clip is not very good, because it was cut by "curved hands" of Boris Nazarov (notice: B. B. Nazarov: "Yes, and i'm proud of it!!!"), but has value as vent-trigger material, so let's go to wach up the movie!

5th July, IKRA club, 21.00 - The lovers of musical experiments, moscows electronic musicians Boris Nazarov and Arkady Marto are ready to gladden the public of their new performance. MGI will perform in their favourite stile of improvisation. During the concert you'll have the possibility to hear track from their last album Les etoiles sont plus proches avec les yeux fermees, and new tracks, which is not fimilar of lovers of MGI.As usual MGI's performance will be accompanied with prodigious video-art show. MG think that it's inalienable part of their performance. Experiments with electronic sound and recorded parts of live instruments , make an unique impression, pleasant magic of electronic music, which is peculiar for all concerts of MGI.
Surround Wednesday - the first album of MGI, which was released on 1997, was published on the cassette. An interresting pe?uliarity, which was noted by musicians just a few times later - mistakes made in the artwork of the album: confusion with numeration and name of compositions. After the first release the amateurs of electronic music start talking about MGI. The rumour gave birth an idea to release the material of the album on the CD, and at first possibility MGI published SW/colour version on Citadel records. As Moscow Grooves institute promised in the autumn at Citadel records will release a new, multi colour version of the Surround Wednesday album with changes in track list, and some modificated tracks. Rereleased album will available for buying in record shops of the country, and right now you have the possibility to download tracks of the firs old school version!

The presentation of the new album and concert program of MGI Les etoiles sont plus proches avec les yeux fermes took place at the Ikra club on 25th of April. The measure was planned and realised in one conceptional way.
Mikhail Efremov People's artist of the Russian Federation was the organizer of the space. Efremov read 2 lections to all presents persons: the first one about the condition of the techno music in contemporary World, the second about the increaser domination of China because of the progress of the digital technologies. Lections divided concerts to the three parts. Due the time between Efremov tried to associate with the public which is unusual to his artistic character, MGI changed scenic dresses. Walls of the Ikra club was decorated by the paper applications of hands, which was shine in fluorescent light and made in the style of the new album cover. MGI appeared in the scene in white masks and gloves and than in chinese silk costumes.
In the concert MGI played tracks from the new album, but it was not full album version, because musicians improvised at all 100%. All action was presented with crazy video-art show and with special MGI sound. Live act lasted during more than one and half hour, it was a working week-days but the public danced so fiery, that even artists took the energy and were ready to dance during the concert.

This is their first disk since 2002. In all Boris Nazarov and Arkady Marto wrote 17 tracks but the album consist only 15 and another residuary tracks will be published on Citadel compilations and west-version of the album.
The release of the album in Russia and Europe is planned on the end of March. Taking into account the wishes of the west partners expressed after MIDEM 2006 where the demo-material was performed for the first time MGI decided to distinguish Russian and European releases. Thats why disks will be published with small differences in track-lists.
The new sounding of MGI is harder now because Groove Institute used live instruments to show riches and variety of a new sound. But one of the main features of the fifth disk is that on the last stage of the albums preparing Arkady Marto improvised with rodos-piano and it was imposed on the finished sound.
Also in the new album took part Olga Rojdestvenskaya beautified with her vocals few compositions. Participant of the German band N.O.H.A. American MC Chevy whos rap diversified an electrical sound of MGI and old friend of the project Daria Rodcher known for the MGIs concert activity from 2000 to 2003.
MGI began to collect the material for the new album in 2003 but as a whole this song should be known to the band lovers especially thosewho watched closely projects concerts for last 3 years. So 8 of 17 tracks are publishing for the first time but they were performed on the concerts of Moscow Grooves Institute and another 6 tracks were recorded with session musicians (Oleg Ivanov the saxophonist, Evgeny Sherbakov the drummer and Petr Mikov the guitarist) after successful mini tour in Europe in September 2005. And last 3 tracks are remixes on earlier published compositions that approached to concert sounding.
The mixing was made on MGIs own studio by Sophia N. Kruglikova whos workingfor 8 years with the band. The mastering of the new album of MGI Les Etoiles sont plus proches avec les yeux fermes was made at Metropolisstudio in London - one of the best companies whose clients are Madonna, U2, Massive Attack and other world-famous musicians. And this is second time of collaboration with Metropolis, earlier ULA, MGI, MGI feat. Olga Noel were published on vinyl.
Traditionally made by Denis Barkovsky design is minimal but the sense of the bands creative work exposes in the image of hand. Firstly its fifth anniversary. Secondly these sketchy daggers like stars and this calls up with the albums name Les etoiles sont plus proches avec les yeux fermes avec les yeux fermes Stars seem closer with closed eyes. And dashed line that means that everything important is inside.

European tour , three weeks later
Almost one month ago we had two concerts of our project in two european capitals. Especially for these two concerts three sessions musicians jointed to the band: saxophonist, drummer and guitarist. The new sound of the new programm, will be unusual for the MGI's admirers, because the band presented in Europe electro-jazz style, the music was full of electronic trills and of live instruments melodic, and in the result made a unique, very peculiar and interesting sound.
The first of the concerts was 16th of September in Aufsturtz club in Berlin on framework of the wold music trade show called POPKOMM. It was a very complicated concerts for the musicians, because of technical difficulties, and it's impossible to say that everything was good, but we need to thanks the professionalism and the mastery of the musicians, which played a very complicated live concerts.
And for the next day we had the second concert, but already in Paris. The show was made in one of the oldest french jazz clubs - New Morning. The technical organization, emotional condition and the creative atmosphere, which reigned in the club in that evening were terrific, what had an effect on the concert undoubtedly. We can confirm with confidence that it was the best concert of the project in this season. And even the old admirers of the concerts in the New Morning, which is famous because of its conservative musical taste and its peculiar permanent public, they observed on the concert with the interest. In general, after the concerts MGI recorded in the studio the instrumental version of several tracks with live instruments with session musicians, which will be in the new album of the band. And as well they are ready to present this programm for the other listeners.
In a middle of September Olga Noel and MGI will have two concerts in Europe: in Berlin and Paris. The organizers of the international musical forum POPKOMM, which annually passes in Berlin, have chosen project of Olga Noel and MGI for the participation in festival part of forum. So 16th of September in Aufsturz club will be a concert of project in framework international exhibition POPKOMM. And on 17th September already Olga and MGI has a concert in Paris in New Morning club at the own party of the label CITADEL RECORDS. New Morinig is one of the oldest clubs in Paris well know by very good jazz-parties, perfect musical taste and refined public. Project planns to prepair a special programm for the tournee, in which will be six participants including drummer, bassplayer and the saxophonist.
One of the participants of Moscow Grooveas Institute Arkady Marto was a participant of Aleksey Aigi's orchestra -named 4'33 in french tour of the project. Arkady masterly played on a piano during the performance in the french cafe Solo and at the festival Franclofolies in La Rachelle, where the set of amateurs of good music has gathered. The set of people has got acquainted witht the creativity of 4'33 in the small tours.
Organizers of celebration of Kaliningrad birthday made a present to inhabitants for the birthday of favorite city - a concert of Olga Noel and MGI. Which was in the night from 2 to 3 July in the Universal club. The MGI and Olga's performance was the latest in the programm and closed the celebration of the City's birthday.
In the opinion of australian label Petrol records Moscow is one of the sexual cities of a planet, that's why Petrol made a compilation devoted to Capital of Russia in the series : "THE SEX THE CITY THE MUSIC". Compilation "MOSCOW SEX CITY" completly consists form the Citadel records's artists tracks. There presented composition of Moscow Groovers Institute, Ula, Alexandroid, MGI feat. Olga Noel, and the other musicians. Then Petrol records wants to publish a guide-book of Moscow bars, clubs and restaurants.

The unique style of Moscow Grooves Institute, loved by lots of listeners worldwide, and the MGI's typical sound, which became a visit card of the band after the publishing the Pizza's album, is accessible now in the reissue of the legendary record.
On of the most discussed discs of 2001 year, popularizaed the works of MGI, was reissued in a new poligraphyc decision and with a viedo-bonus.
For to exite the curiosity of the melomans, who pay the attention not just for the magazines reviews but too for the design of the disc, Citadel records made a real pizza's pac for the record, with the size of CD. And a video-bonus presented with a clip of the famous track Voyage made by producer Ilya Smolin .
The general secret of the Italian masters of art of cookery personified in Pizza its a combination of incongruous things, for the reception the unique taste was disclosed in 1999, during the writing of an album. Then for pizza's preparing was taken the most interest and unusual musical combinations from the russian electronic music. Something from drumm'n'bass popular in that time, break bit, and live instruments. So in consequence , lots of musical critics applauds to MGI. And like six years ago, today we publish the recipe of the most popular musical dish.
The recipe of pizza is quite simple: the basis is funk, add acid-jazz, trip-hop, break bit, house, drumm'n'bass in unequal proportions. Mix all very neatly. A little bit of french chic for the refinied taste. Then a eastern horn and a live bass and guitars for the exotica lovers. The main thing it's a feeling of measure, what called a fine taste.
The first april release of Citadel records its the second reissue of the solo project of Arkady Marto from MGI Eject project, album Real Time.
Real Time is the most popular ambient album of russian electronic musicians.
Two first editions was bought for a ome month. In new issue of real time has two principal differences: a new mastering made at MGI studio by Boris Nazarov, a two new compositions in the track-list, made by Boris and Arkady together and it's resembling an MGI sound. So it's a mini premier for MGI. Real time- it's a simbolism of ambient spontaneity and musicial improvisation. Its a bright melancholy and alive tranqility, a light of reflection and simplicity. Its reissue is devoted to Andrey Kurkin's memory.

Separetly, Boriz Nazarov almost didn't leave studio, made of the electronic programming for the jubilee concert for the famous russian Autograph band. Also they recorded a new song the boat, which you can hear in the radio soon. Autograph band arranges round on cities of Russia in May, which will be close with a big concert show in Moscow at the end of Jun, during celebrating th jubilee of the Band.
Now all melomans and DJ's can listen the best tracks of MGI (Tangebility album), of MGI and Olga Noel (Les Chrysanthemes and Na Zare albums) at the vinyl. We made all for the quality of our records. The mastering of the vinyl was made in Londodn at Metropolis studio which work also with Massive Attack, Coldplay, David Bowie, Madonna, Robbie Williams and the others.
MGI performed at the capital of Udmurtia on February 10th, in snowy Izhevsk . The concert was in the Babilon-disco club. MGI made a programm of the 100% of musical improvisation. Everybody heard hadcore-jazz, techno, noise, the game with the abcense of the precise forms, the unpredictable combination of the basis of the different tracks. To dance to the right and to the left to the music of MGI could the inhabitant of Perm February 12th, everybody danced in Boogie-Woogie club at the Musique Erotique party.
The time of chrysanthemums in Novinsky
In frameworks of the special project the time of Chrysanthemums in Novinsky in atrium of the new trade center Novinsky passage will be a perfomance of the MGI feat Olga Noel. Novinsky will decorate by the best moscow florists in the chysanthemums theme.. In the time of the performance everybody can see the video in the big plazma panels near the stage.
It will be the first open autograph-session of the project Moscow Grooves Institute feat. Olga Noel. The action is devoted to the publication of the new album Na Zare, which was peresented for the public 5 and 6 October in Hermitage theatre. The beginning is at 16.00, there you can also buy a new disc, talk with Olga and MGI and take an autograph.
